Your first lash appointment typically takes between 90 minutes and two hours for a full set, so make sure you have enough time and arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes. You'll lie comfortably on a treatment bed while the technician applies individual lash extensions using a specialist adhesive – the process is very relaxing and many clients fall asleep. Your technician will discuss your desired look beforehand, from natural and wispy to dramatic and voluminous. After the appointment, avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 to 48 hours, and steer clear of oily makeup removers around your eyes as these break down the adhesive. Brush your lashes gently each morning with a clean spoolie. With proper aftercare, lash extensions can last up to six weeks between infill appointments.
